Disorder in the Court (The Three Stooges)
About this video
The Three Stooges—Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard—appear as key witnesses in the murder trial of dancer Gail Tempest. Their presence transforms the courtroom into a site of slapstick chaos. From playing tic-tac-toe in the hallway and on a man's coat to bungling the oath with hats and canes, the trio's antics repeatedly disrupt the proceedings. During a musical reenactment, Gail dances for the jury while the Stooges provide orchestral accompaniment on bass and violin. A demonstration of the crime using a large letter press goes awry, nearly crushing Curly's head. The trial reaches a chaotic climax when a parrot escapes, leading the Stooges on a chase that ends with Curly accidentally soaking everyone with a high-pressure fire hose. Ultimately, a note found on the parrot's leg exonerates Gail, and the Stooges celebrate their messy success as the trial concludes in water-soaked disorder.
