About this video
In this classic animated short, Papa Panda and his son Andy Panda find their quiet afternoon in their bamboo home disrupted by Woody Woodpecker, a manic bird who insists on pecking holes in their roof. Papa Panda attempts a series of increasingly elaborate and frustrated slapstick maneuvers to rid himself of the pest—including using a wooden board, a malfunctioning shotgun, and a mechanical bird decoy rigged with a time bomb—only to be outwitted at every turn. Ultimately, Andy Panda manages to capture the woodpecker by simply pouring salt on his tail. The film concludes with two Woodpecker Orderlies arriving to take Woody Woodpecker away, only for them to reveal their own shared insanity as they manicly dance away.
